Chamane Born in 1974 from a Cuban father and an Italian-French mother, Chamane grew up in the French Riviera. He then studied at the Polytechnic School of Design in Milan, where he received a degree in Design and Interior Architecture. Chamane considers his works as totems or as open windows on a world underlining the paradoxes and the ambiguities of the universal symbols that dominate on our modern society and transform the human being in consumerism. He describes his vision of the world as one of a big child who looks for the wonder in creativity and refuses all disillusion. Influenced by the UNDERGROUND and AMERICAN POP movements, Chamane defines himself as a pacifist warrior who wishes to return the more accessible art. For this is the reason he explores several mediums including canvas, clothing, and objects.
